DevOps Fundamentals provides a comprehensive introduction to the Agile DevOps principles and addresses the essential knowledge and competences defined by DASA.
DASA is the DevOps Agile Skills Association, the leading body in DevOps certification.
Within DASA we distinguish 8 knowledge areas and 4 skills that are important for DevOps. This training provides an introduction to all these 12 aspects.
The DevOps Fundamentals training thus lays the foundation for the follow-up training and certifications within DASA.
The main topics of the training are:

• CALMS: Culture, Automation, Lean, Measurement, Sharing
• DASA
• Exam preparation

Who should attend DevOps Fundamentals (DASA)

The DevOps Fundamentals trainig is primarily aimed at individuals involved in IT development, IT operations, or IT service management. The training is also aimed at individuals whose role are touched by DevOps and continuous delivery, such as the following IT roles:

• DevOps engineers
• Product owners
• Integration specialists
• Operations managers
• Incident and change managers
• System administrators
• Network administrators
• Business managers
• Automation architects
• Enterprise architects

Prerequisites

Basic familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Lean, and ITSM principles is beneficial.

• Participate successfully in the DevOps transformation within the organization by sharing a common understanding and vocabulary required for DevOps ways of working.
• Define and discuss the key concepts and principles of DevOps.

This training includes a voucher for the official, internationally recognized exam.
