In this training you will get the necessary theory and practical experience to use Robot Framework. Through modules we will discuss several aspects of Robot Framework.
The following modules are offered:- Robot Framework basics: In this module you will learn the basics of Robot Framework.
We will start with the very basics of Robot Framework, what is it and what is it used for. Then we will go into more detail and you will learn about the architecture, keyword and test case syntax, use of test data as well as variables, execution of test suites or cases, reports and logs and finally the more advanced automation techniques.
Robot Framework web testing: In this module you learn to automate web applications with Robot Framework and the Browser library. We will apply the knowledge gained in the basic module here a lot in practice, after which we will also further deepen and develop in even more advanced test automation techniques. In this way we ensure that we can get the most out of our keyword and therefore test cases.
After following this training you should be fully able to independently start and maintain a Robot Framework project.Who should attend Mastering test automation with Robot Framework ®
This training has been developed for IT professionals with an interest in and/or already basic knowledge of Robot Framework
Prerequisites
For this training you need basic experience of test automation and HTML/CSS.
Robot Framework installation needs to be done prior to the training (installation guide available).Objectives
